May 2026

Forza Horizon 6 — May 15 (Premium early access), May 19 (standard) Xbox Series X|S, PC, Xbox Cloud. Free on Game Pass. Japan setting. Mount Fuji, Tokyo expressways, full seasonal rotation. The racing game of 2026.

Mixtape — May 7 PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC. Narrative road trip game from ex-Dontnod developers with a music-driven story structure.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle — May 12 (Switch 2) Machine Games' acclaimed action-adventure finally lands on Nintendo hardware. Strong reviews at original launch make this a confident Switch 2 pickup.

June 2026

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth — June 3 (Switch 2) Square Enix's acclaimed second chapter of the FF7 Remake trilogy arrives on Nintendo Switch 2. One of 2024's highest-rated games now portable.

The Duskbloods — June window (TBC) FromSoftware's Switch 2 exclusive. The online multiplayer action game set in a world of demon hunters and divine entities. Potentially the most anticipated Switch 2-exclusive game of the year.

Elden Ring: Nightreign — August Window FromSoftware's co-op multiplayer expansion of Elden Ring's universe. One of the most anticipated FromSoftware releases in years, targeting the summer window based on developer comments.

Still Unannounced But Expected

GTA 6 marketing blitz — Summer 2026 Take-Two confirmed summer marketing. Trailer 3, gameplay reveal, and pre-order opening are all expected before August.
